A Call for Help on Five for Friday

Jun 7, 2013

First week of summer=busy week! But (of course) I must make time to link up!

1.
A little bird (Maria!) got it in my head to maybe try out TPT.  Well...once I start thinking about something...I just can't seem to stop that train.  So here I am, first week of summer, dipping my feet into the TPT pool.  And I am excited, nervous, SCAREd!  So many questions...is my stuff good enough?  Will anyone really want to buy it?  What am I thinking?
So my #1 is a call for help this week.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me out there?  I have only posted my Word Ladders and What Looks Right activities to TPT.  But what suggestions are there for me so far...

2.
I changed up my Word Ladders a bit to make them more TPT worthy.  What do you think?

3.
Facebook.  I really wanted to work on our Facebook page to get it up and running!  Finally!

4.
I love to garage sale!  Maria has a dream of using frames to hang student work in the hallways.  Check out what my 60 cents bought me today!
Maybe some pretty paint to spruce them up?
5.
Reds game!  They lost. Bummer.  But my girls had a good time.
Thank you Thank you Thank you to anyone that can help me out with TPT.

  4. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the frames!!!! I'm so excited to purchase more throughout the summer! :) You'll have to show me the Facebook page since I'm the only one in the world without one. :)
    You're amazing!

  5. Best of luck with your TpT store. I got brave and began a store last summer. I don't have much out there yet. I uploaded a few things last summer, but I worked on many throughout the school year. I tried them out with my own students. I'm cleaning them up and plan to upload them into my store this summer. I'm still learning so I don't have a lot of advice except be brave and learn as you go. Each product you develop will get better and better. It's kind of like each teaching year. We learn and improve year by year!

  6. Em, I opened my TPT store just over three months ago and I've been working really hard at it. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have and I just might have the answer! If not we can figure out the answer!

  7. Great post! I enjoyed reading yours as well. The best advice that I can give about TpT is clip-art, clip-art and more clip-art! It is so important when it comes to selling your product and use a variety of clip-art not just one style.
