I am so new, well.... not SO new, to blogland. I've been blogstalking since around Christmas and I have been inspired by so many FABULOUS teachers that are out there. One of the blogs I found and started following about a month or so ago is The Hands-On Teacher. She has AMAZING ideas and is currently having a 200 follower giveaway!!!! On another note, thanks to my friend Erin at Mrs. Beers Language Arts Class for the inspiration and motivation to get this blog up and moving (among the other great things she does for me). Also, a big thanks to my friend Emily at Sharpsburg Reads for her willingness to blog with me. Our teaching buddies Karen and Natalie will be getting on board too.

Welcome!!! Curiousity fuels our firsties and this year it is fueling us. We are in the process of curiously exploring the Common Core, a Framework for Literacy, departmentalizing and leveling our firsties. We hope you enjoy our adventures as we Curiously Wander through First Grade this year.
