Wordless Wednesday: Nonstandard Units

This week we enjoyed measuring with potatoes (then sending home a potato and recipe with each kid!)  What nonstandard units of measurement do your students enjoy using?

    I've never measured with potatoes. My kiddos like measuring with candy...especially seasonal things like jelly beans, candy corn, etc.

    I usually use something seasonal. However, I love the potatoes!
